| Miami Valley Cross Country Ski Club Southwestern, OH MVCCSC , founded 20 years ago, has about 80 members, mostly from southwestern Ohio. All members are over 25 and many are retired. The club encourages local skiing when ever there is snow, but mostly plans and conducts weekend XC ski trips to Michigan and a week long trip to a major cross country ski resort. Last year the trip was to Silver Star/Soverign Lake in British Columbia. This year the major trip will be to Lone Star Mountain Ranch in Montana. Club meetings are held monthly from September through April, usually on the first Saturday morning. Cross country skiers and potential XC skiers are welcome. |
| Ohio Nordic Ski Club Northeast Ohio The Ohio Nordic Ski Club promotes Nordic skiing in Ohio with races, outings and events for all ages and levels of skiers. The club race team competes in events throughout the region including the Michigan Cup race series. |

All that the AXCS requires is a postal address for shipping promotional materials and your agreement to distribute those materials to your club members at potlucks, workouts, races, swaps, anywhere your group meets or can pass the good word. Small Print: AXCS typically defines "Clubs" as either non-profit local community organizations with adult (25+ years) programs or training groups (non-profit or commercial) specifically working with adult XC skiers. We also include in this directory selected local XC organizations that have ties to major citizen performance skiing events and programs.
