Who is eligible for the benefit? Top

Individual AXCS members who have been a member in good standing for a minimum of six months and their spouse or domestic partner residing in the same household are eligible (address verification required). SOA may conduct follow-up market research with you in order to obtain your opinion of the program and to gather information regarding your dealership experience.

How do I take advantage of the program? Top

1. All you need to do is contact the AXCS National Office via email or phone/FAX in advance of visiting a participating dealer (see Step 2).IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT visit a dealer to discuss pricing or your purchase intent without first contacting AXCS to obtain a Dealer Visit Authorization Form. Doing so will, in most cases, make you ineligible for the program. VIP Partners Program pricing does not apply to sales made before receipt of the approved Dealer Visit Authorization Form.
   
   
2. Contact the AXCS National Office by phone/FAX (541) 317-0217 or e-mail axcs @ xcskiworld.com to request a Dealer Visit Authorization Form. Please include the following information:
   
   
   • Member name (and, if applicable, spouse or domestic partner name)
   • Member home address, city, state, and zip code
   • Member Daytime Phone
   • Name, city, and state of the dealer from whom you would like to make your purchase (If you do not request a dealer, SOA will select the closest participating dealer based on your zip code).

   
   

3. AXCS will verify your membership status and forward your request to SOA within 24 hours.
   
   
4. SOA staff will forward a letter and original Dealer Visit Authorization Form via regular mail to you within 24 hours. SOA will also send a copy to the dealer via fax on the day the letter and form are sent.
   
   
5. Once you receive the Dealer Visit Authorization Form, verify that the information on the form is correct.
   
   
6. Within 45 days from the form's authorization date, visit the dealer identified on your Dealer Visit Authorization Form and present the original cover letter and form you received in the mail.
   

How is the deal to be made? Top

All you need to do is obtain a Dealer Visit Authorization Form in advance of visiting a dealership and present the form to a participating dealer. The dealer will disclose the VIP base price and you can decide whether or not to purchase the vehicle.

What kind of vehicle can I buy? Top

All new Subaru models are included in the VIP Program, subject to availability and dealer discretion. At the dealer's election, the Subaru vehicle may be secured from the dealer's new vehicle inventory or ordered from SOA. From time-to-time, new models may be temporarily held from the VIP Program until dealer inventories are sufficient to accommodate VIP customers. New Subaru vehicles are those never titled, not previously reported sold and generally have less than 100 miles. Dealer demos are excluded.

2003 Note: Unfortunately, due to the very limited production plan for the new Subaru STi model, Subaru of America must exclude this special vehicle from the VIP Program, nationally.

How much will I save? Top

The amount you save off Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) base price depends on SOA's dealer invoice price by type of model. According to SOA, the approximate savings using the VIP base price ranges from a low of $1,300 up to $3,050 depending on the model and body style. Additional savings may be offered in the form of incentives on applicable models. However, this program cannot be combined with other affiliate or SOA program offers or vouchers.

Participation in the VIP program recognizes that this program is a privilege extended through the association affiliation with SOA to the member. At its sole discretion, SOA may, at any time, exclude an individual from participating in the program.

• Vehicles
  1. An individual VIP Partners customer is limited to two (2) new vehicles within a 12-month period.
  2. All new Subaru vehicles are included in the Program, subject to availability and dealer discretion. New, unused Subaru vehicles are those never titled, not previously reported sold and generally have less than 100 miles. At the dealer's election, the Subaru vehicle may be secured from the dealer's new vehicle inventory or ordered from SOA.

  
  

• Transactions (Dealers and Financing)
  1. VIP Partners Program pricing does not apply to sales made before receipt of the approved Dealer Visit Authorization Form.
  2. It is not the purpose or intent of the VIP Partners Program to interfere with any pricing negotiations currently underway with a dealership. The VIP program is inapplicable if a customer engages in pricing negotiations or purchase intent without an approved and completed Dealer Visit Authorization Form and accompanying letter of introduction in hand.
  3. The Dealer Visit Authorization Form is valid for 45 days from date of authorization.
  4. Sales must be conducted by an authorized and participating Subaru dealer at the pre-determined price.
  5. The VIP Partners Program is available in all states except Hawaii.
  6. The VIP Partners customer may purchase (or lease) any Subaru model at dealer invoice cost, including the factory installed accessories. This price will be reduced by any applicable dealer or customer regional incentives. Because this is an especially attractive program, this program cannot be combined with any other offers. A dealer may, in its discretion, provide additional discounts on any models.
  7. Dealer Demos are excluded from this program.
  8. Trade-in allowances are determined by the dealership.
  9. The VIP Partners Program customer is responsible for freight and accessories as well as all applicable federal, state and local taxes and license and municipality registration fees. Any administrative and/or dealer trade fees are additional.
  10. Leases can be structured at zero down payment for our VIP Partners customers with an acceptable credit history. However, a security deposit and first month's payment are required.
  11. All new Subaru models are included in the VIP Program, subject to availability and dealer discretion. At the dealer's election, the Subaru vehicle may be secured from the dealer's new vehicle inventory or ordered from SOA.
