New User: How To Add An Event To The Event Center
Step One: Go to the xcskiworld.com Forums interface and click on "Register". You will be asked to set up a very simple account with ALL information provided exclusively held by AXCS (pretty much all that is required is an email, password, and username). You will not get any spam email doing this step and we never sell or trade our database with anyone. Note that if you have used set up an xcskiworld.com Forums account previously you can simply log...same account is good for listing events.
Step Two: Once you have your account registered, log on using your username and password. Note: If things are done correctly, the log on page will reset but will still stay within Forums. Now click on the "return to home page" link on the uppermost left corner. Then pull down the "Events" section drop down menu from the navigation bar. Click on "Add A New Event". Assuming you are still logged on you'll see a nifty on-line form for adding your event. You can put in as much info as you like on most sections but note that some sections are required. Once done, click "Submit Event Information". You can now log off or add a new event.
Step Three: Any event organizer in good standing is welcome to add as many XC ski-related events as you like in our Event Center. AXCS does reserve the right to delete any submission and cancel any organizer account for posting obscene, offensive, or inflamatory submissions. AXCS also asks all event organizers posting events to be willing to distribute AXCS promotional materials to your skiers and/or members if a package is sent in the coming year. A strong non-profit AXCS is the only way that we can provide this free resource to the XC ski community.

How To Edit An Event In The Event Center
Step One: Go to the xcskiworld.com Forums interface and log on using your username and password. Note: If things are done correctly, the log on page will reset but will still stay within Forums.
Step Two: Click on the "return to home page" link on the uppermost left corner of the Forums page. Then when the main xcskiworld.com home page appears, pull down the "Events" section drop down menu from the navigation bar. Click on "Worldwide XC Events Calendar". When the calendar appears, find your event and click on the link.
Step Three: Once you are viewing your listing, you'll see two buttons above the event title..."Edit Event" and "Delete Event". You simply click on the button of your choice to make edits or delete the listing entirely. Note that you simply go back to the main Calendar to edit more than one event in one visit. If you want to add a brand new event listing, just pull down the navigation bar drop down menu and click "Add New Event". Once done you can log off or simply close the page.
