Something You Can Share Together

Cross country skiing is some of the very best outdoor recreation - and something the whole family can (and should) participate in.

Children as young as two or three can be found shuffling around on skis and can enjoy the sport even younger riding in a parent-towed XC ski sled. As they grow, older children can enjoy many of the same adventures as adults whether it be an age-appropriate backcountry tour, skiing on groomed tracks at a commercial area, or even beginning a competition career.

Best of all, the XC family experience does not have to end when the "kids" become adults. Indeed, many of the most rewarding XC ski experiences are to be found with grown children sharing a few hours dancing on snow with their now "well preserved" parents.

XC skiing is truly a sport for life and the American Cross Country Skiers hopes that it will become an activity that your family can always share...together.
